Sue Moshofsky
Writer :: Mother :: Dreamer
Sue’s been writing all her life, filling journals – stacks of them –with her heart: pages chronicling motherhood, menopause, and more. Pages she dreamed might someday become a book.
That book Sue dreamed is How to Not Suck at Motherhood: Tales from a Recovering Perfectionist. It’s a how-to-not manual written by a mom who read all the how-to manuals and found she didn’t measure up. A collection of moments in the life of a mother who learned that sometimes, the best you can hope for is to not suck.
Sue’s dream now is to sneak her nearly-ready writing out of the third drawer of her desk where she’s kept it safely tucked for the past four or more years. Set the bar at “try to not suck,” and let it all go. Send it out into the world.
